How to configure the Internet settings for a Samsung SGH-F480 (Tocco)
To setup the Internet
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Tap Settings
- Tap Application settings
- Tap Browser profiles
- Tap Options then tap Create
- Tap the Set name box and enter #Profile then tap Done
- Tap the Access name box and enter #InternetAPN then tap Done
- Tap on the Auth type dropdown and set it to #Authentication
- Tap the User ID box and enter #Username then tap Done
- Tap the Password box and enter #Password then tap Done
- Tap the Protocol and set it to #ServiceType
- Tap the Home URL box and enter #Homepage then tap Done
- Tap the Proxy address box and enter #InternetProxy:#InternetPort then tap Done
- Tap the Linger time (sec.) box and enter 120 then tap Done
- Skip Advanced settings
- Tap Save
- Tap the profile just created to activate it
Note A dot should appear next to the profile - Turn the phone off and then back on for the settings to take effect
- The Internet is now setup.

I'm here in the Philippines. I still have my samsung SGH-F480. How will I configure my cellphone so I could access to the intenet? Or what will I do so I could have a facebook in my cellphone? My carrier right now is GLOBE telecom (Philippines). My carrier (GLOBE telecom) send me configuration to my cellphone but it doesn't work at all. I tried to call my carrier's customer service but they said, they can't bacause my cellphone was bought in other country (w/c is actually bought in Dubai about 2 yrs ago. Will I still solve my drive to access facebook in my cellphone?? Thanks for a serious help.
Hi! just like Jeni,I can't access my internet mobile with my samsung SGH-F480 because its brought abroad,in australia. My carrier is SMART Phils. & GLOBE Phils. Please send me the configuration???I'd love to see how its configured.....please help me..... thanks
