How to configure the Internet Settings on a Motorola A1200 (Ming)
Internet Setup
- Go to the Main Menu
- Select Menu
- Select Setup
- Select Data Network
- Select New Profile
Important! Delete all existing profile's first. - For the Profile Name enter #Profile
- For the APN enter #InternetAPN
- For the Username enter #Username
- For the Password enter #Password
- Set the Timeout to 15 Mins
- For the Primary GATEWAY IP enter in #InternetProxy
- For the Port enter #InternetPort
- Set DNS Server check box to #DNS
- Select DNS Server (if DNS Server box checked)
- For the DNS One enter #DNS
- For the DNS Two enter #DNS
- Press Save twice
- Press the End key
Browser Setup
- Go to the Main Menu
- Select Menu
- Select Browser
- Select Setup
- Select Profiles
- Select New Profile
Important! Delete all existing profiles first. - For the Profile Name enter #Profile
- For the Homepage enter #Homepage
- For the Network Link select the Profile created from the Internet Setup
- Press Save
- Ensure the Profile is Activated
