How to configure the Internet settings on a Samsung GT-S5230 (Tocco Lite)
To setup the Internet
- Tap Menu
- Tap Settings
- Tap Application settings
- Tap Browser profiles
- Tap Create
- Tap the Set name box and enter #Profile then tap Done
- Tap the Access name box and enter #InternetAPN then tap Done
- Tap the Auth type drop down button and tap #Authentication
- Tap the User ID box and enter #Username then tap Done
- Tap the Password box and enter #Password then tap Done
- Tap the Protocol drop down button and tap #ServiceType
- Tap the Home URL box and enter #Homepage then tap Done
- Tap the Proxy address box and enter #InternetProxy:#InternetPort then tap Done
- Tap the Linger time (sec) box and enter 120 then tap Done
- Tap Save
- Tap the profile just created to activate it
Note A dot should appear next to the profile - Turn the phone off and then back on for the settings to take effect
- The Internet settings are now setup.

I followed all of the steps above and still cannot access the internet. Error message DNS failed HELP!
This did not give you the entries needed just how to follow steps!!!! I can look at my phone and see the steps need addresses and ID etc.....

i did what ever it told me to do and it still says service unavailblecan i help me
the edge icon shows red and when i try to connect to internet it comes back with the message, no responce. and ive tried all the settings you said should be perform.please help

Try to set the Preferred Network, then run the Net.
