How to configure the Picture Messaging on a LG GT365 (Neon)

To setup the APN Profile

  1. Go to the Main Screen
  2. Select Menu
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Connection
  5. Select Access Points
  6. Select New
  7. For the Name enter #Profile
  8. Set Bearer to #Bearer
  9. For the APN enter #MMSAPN
  10. For the User ID enter #Username
  11. For the Password enter #Password
  12. For the Primary Server enter #DNS
  13. For the Secondary Server enter #DNS
  14. Select Save

 

 

To setup the Picture Message Profile

  1. Go to the Main Screen
  2. Select Menu
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Application Settings
  5. Select Messaging
  6. Select Multimedia Message
  7. Select Network Profile
  8. Select New
     
    Note that some may have to select Options then New Profile
  9. For the Profile name enter #Profile
  10. For the MMSC enter #MMSC
  11. Set Internet Mode to #ConnectionMode
  12. For the Proxy IP enter #MMSProxy
  13. For the Proxy Port enter #MMSPort
  14. Set the Connection to the Profile created above
  15. Select Save
  16. Scroll to the Profile just created
  17. Select Activate
  18. The Picture Messaging is now setup

My internet mode does not have tcp with proxy will that affect the mms?

Jessica, if you look closely at the picture under step 15, it says "HTTP WITH PROXY." I'm sure he did a typo, because I set it with that and my picture messaging is working great.

For some reason this didn't solve my problem and my picture messages still won't send. Any ideas on what I could do?
