How to configure the Picture Messaging on a LG KP500 (Cookie)
To Setup the Access Point
- Go to the Main Screen
- Select Menu (the 4 dot button)
- Select the Settings tab
- Select Connectivity
- Select Access Points
- Select Add access point
- For the Connection name enter #Profile
- Set Authentication to #Authentication
- For the Username enter #Username
- For the Password enter #Password
- For the APN enter #MMSAPN
- Select Save
To Setup the Internet Profile
- Go to the Main Screen
- Select Menu (the 4 dot button)
- Select the Settings tab
- Select Connectivity
- Select Internet profiles
- Select Add profile
- For the Title enter #Profile
- Set Use proxy to #Proxy
- For the Proxy server address enter #MMSProxy if the Proxy is on
- For the Proxy server port enter #MMSPort if the Proxy is on
- Set the Access point to the profile created above
- Select Save
To Setup the MMS Profile
- Go to the Main Screen
- Select Menu (the 4 dot button)
- Select the Communicate tab
- Select Messaging
- Select Settings
- Select Multimedia message
- Select Multi msg centre
- Select Add new
- For the Title enter #Profile
- For the MMSC URL enter #MMSC
- Set the MMS Proxy to the internet profile created above
- Select Save
- Select Yes to Activate
- The Picture Messaging should now be setup.

I am able to get through all of the above steps but do NOT know what to enter in the required fields. The article mentions to ent# profile ,# authentication, # username, etc. What does this mean? I got the internet connected without too much problem but I cannot receive MMS messages. What should the entries be in the various required fields? I am on an ATT service. Thanks, Paul
