How to turn Silent Mode On or Off on a Apple iPhone
To turn Silent Mode On or Off
- On the left-hand side of the iPhone above the volume control is a switch.
- Flip the switch down towards the botton of the phone to turn Silent Mode Off
- Flip the switch up towards the top of the phone to turn Silent Mode On
- With the Vibrate function turned On, the iPhone will still vibrate while Silent Mode is On.
A bell icon with a line through it on the screen will appear when the Ringer is Off.
An Orange dot on the left side indicates that Silent Mode is currently On.
