To setup the phone as a modem

1. Download the LG USB Modem drivers below
2. Run the LG USB Modem driver install
3. Select your language then click Next
   
4. Click Next to begin the installation
   
5. Once complete, click OK to complete the installation
   

Set the phone to Data Connection

1. Go to the Main Screen
2. Press Menu
3. Select Settings
4. Select Connection
5. Select USB Connection Mode
6. Select Data Service

Setup the Connection

1. Connect the LG Phone to the computer
2. Go to Start > Control Panel
   
3. Windows Vista - On the left panel select Classic View to show all icons
4. Windows 7 - Click the All Control Panel Items icon to show all icons
5. Open Device Manager
   
6. Click the plus next to Modems
7. Right click the LGE Mobile USB Modem and select Properties
   
8. Click the Advanced tab
9. In the Extra Initialization Command enter #ModemInitialization
10. Click OK to save it
    
11. Close the Device Manager
12. Open Network and Sharing Center
13. Click Setup a connection or network
    
14. Select Set up a dial-up connection then click Next
    
15. If prompted, select the LGE Mobile USB Modem
    
16. For the Dial-up phone number enter #ModemNumber
17. For the Username enter #ModemUsername
18. For the Password enter #ModemPassword
19. For the Connection name enter #ModemName
20. Click Connect to connect
    
21. If successful, click Browse the Internet now to browse or Close to close the window
    
22. The Modem Connection is setup and ready to use.
23. If the connection failed, click Setup my connection anyway
    
24. When prompted to select a location, select Home
    
25. Click Close and then browse the web
    

If the connection failed

1. Verify all the settings using this walkthrough again.
2. If still now working go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center
3. Windows Vista - Select Manage Network Connections on the left panel
4. Windows 7 - Select Change Adapter Settings on the left panel
5. Open the Dial-up Connection and click Dial
   
6. The connection will fail and bring up an error code. In this case it is Error 619
