How to configure the Internet settings on a LG CU920 (Vu)

To setup the Access Point

  1. Go to the Main Screen
  2. Tap the Menu key (4 dot button)
  3. Tap on the Settings tab (fourth tab)
  4. Select More
  5. Select Connection
  6. Select Network Profiles
  7. Select New
  8. For the Connection Title enter #Profile then tap OK
  9. Tap Authentication and tap on #Authentication
  10. For the User Name enter #Username then tap OK
  11. For the Password enter #Password then tap OK
  12. For the APN enter #InternetAPN then tap OK
  13. Tap Save


To setup the Browser

  1. Go to the Main Screen
  2. Tap the Menu key (4 dot button)
  3. Tap on the Utilities tab (second tab)
  4. Select MEdia Net
  5. Select Browser Settings
  6. Select Accounts
  7. Select New (Top right)
  8. For the Account Name enter #Profile then tap OK
  9. For the Homepage enter #Homepage then tap OK
  10. Tap Connection Mode and then tap #ConnectionMode
  11. For the Proxy Address enter #InternetProxy then tap OK
  12. For the Proxy Port Number enter #InternetPort then tap OK
  13. Tap Network Profile then tap the Profile created above
  14. Tap Save
  15. Tap the profile just created then tap Activate
  16. The internet is now setup.
