How to configure the Picture Messaging on a HTC (T-Mobile) G1

To setup the Internet and Picture Messaging

  1. Go to the Main Screen and press the Menu button
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Wireless controls
  4. Select Mobile networks
  5. Select Access Point Names
  6. Press the Menu button
  7. Select New APN
  8. For the Name enter #Profile
  9. For the APN enter #InternetAPN
  10. For the Proxy enter #InternetProxy
  11. For the Port enter #InternetPort
  12. For the Username enter #Username
  13. For the Password enter #Password
  14. For the Server leave blank
  15. For the MMSC enter #MMSC
  16. For the MMS proxy enter #MMSProxy
  17. For the MMS port enter #MMSPort
  18. For the MCC leave as is
  19. For the MNC leave as is
  20. For the APN type leave blank
  21. Press the Menu button
  22. Select Save
  23. Tap the Radio box next to the new profile to set as default
    It should have the green dot in it.
  24. The internet and picture messaging is now setup.
