How to configure the Picture Messaging on a LG CU720 (Shine)

To setup the APN

  1. Go to the Main Screen and press Menu
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Connection
  4. Select Network Profiles
  5. Select New
  6. For the Connection title enter #Profile
  7. Set Authentication to #Authentication
  8. For the Username enter #Username
  9. For the Password enter #Password
  10. For the APN enter #MMSAPN
  11. Select Save


To setup the Picture Messaging

  1. Go to the Main Screen and press Menu
  2. Select Messaging
  3. Select Message Settings
  4. Select Multimedia Message
  5. Select Message Center
  6. Press Options and select New
  7. For the Name enter #Profile
  8. For the MMSC URL enter #MMSC
  9. For the MMSC Proxy enter #MMSProxy
  10. For the MMSC Port enter #MMSPort
  11. For the Username enter #Username
  12. For the Password enter #Password
  13. Set the Connection Mode to #ConnectionMode
  14. Set Network Profile to the Profile created above
  15. Select Save
  16. Highlight the profile just created and select Activate
  17. The Picture Messaging is now setup.
