How to configure the Text Messaging on a LG CU720 (Shine)

To Setup Text Messaging

  1. Go to the Main Screen and press Menu
  2. Select Messaging
  3. Select Message Settings
  4. Select Text Messaging
  5. Select Message Center Number
  6. For the Message Center enter #SMSC then press Set
  7. Select Email Gateway
  8. For the Email Gateway enter #EmailGateway then press Set
  9. Select Message Subject
  10. Set to On or Off based on preference then press Set
  11. Select Insert Signature
  12. Set to On or Off based on preference then press Set
  13. The Text Messaging is setup.
