How to perform a Master Clear on a LG CU720 (Shine)

To perform a Master Reset

  1. This will clear out user settings, profiles, downloads, contacts, etc from the phone.
  2. Go to the Main Menu
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Reset Settings
  5. Select Master Clear
  6. Select Handset to clear the Handset or Memory Card to clear the Memory Card
  7. A prompt All settings reset to default value and all data will be deleted. Continue? will come up
  8. Scroll to Yes then press OK
  9. Enter 0000 for the Security Code then press OK
    Note that if the default Security Code has been changed, enter the new code.
  10. The Deleting Progress will go through to 100% and the phone will be Master Cleared
