Just received the Sciphone Dream G2
After a little over a week or so my Sciphone Dream G2 finally showed up!

I found the box to be a really nice ripoff of the G1 packaging. They definetly put more effort and quality into the packaging and the phone itself this time. If you've used the Sciphone i68 iphone clone, it really seemed more like an expensive childs toy than a phone. The Dream G2 actually feels really nice and the touchscreen does seem more responsive then the i68 does. Though the BEST part of it all...the little Android wall charger! That very well might be the only reason I wanted to buy this.
The next best thing about the Dream G2 is that it comes with Opera Mini preinstalled. This provides a much better browsing experience and actually makes paying for a data service for the phone worth while. Next to the built in browsers on an actual iPhone or Android, Opera is the next best thing. With that, it also has many Google apps preinstalled as well such as, Google Maps (China Google Maps also!), Picasa, Google SMS, etc, though most are just shortucts to the webpage.
The phone has almost 90MB of phone memory...which is really nice considering the i68 had what may have been less than 1MB. The one I bought also came with a 2gb memory card which is great for storing Music and Videos or other content.
For the price, you definetly get what you paid for though. Sciphone phones are cheap both in price and quality but the Dream G2 definetly has more quality for the price then some other phones.

T-Mobile has dropped Phone as Modem support!
T-Mobile is no longer providing support for using your Blackberry or Windows Mobile phone as a modem. They had previously stopped supporting using regular cell phones as modems before this. T-Mobile will still allow you to use your phone as a modem, they just wont help. They do however provide a link to thier forums at www.t-mobile.com/phoneasmodem for the setup and help.
With this change, I am working on new articles on setting up your phones as modems as well as troubleshooting those connections. Feel free to use the Contact|Request link at the top of the page to request anything specific.
If you want T-Mobile to support your Modem connection still, you must buy the T-Mobile Webconnect USB Stick. Which costs 49.99 per month...for only 5GB of data...which is stupid considering you can get a T-Mobile 3g enabled Windows Mobile phone or the new Blackberry Bold 9700 3g phone and use it as a modem for and have UNLIMITED data (They do however throttle-decrease- your connection speed at 10GB).
